We do not recommend Silicone Rubber for applications that involve tear and cut resistance, abrasion, high tensile strength, also not advisable for resistance to oil, gasoline, alkalis, acids & solvents.
The Physical properties of silicone rubber remain virtually unchanged over long periods of exposure to wind, rain & UV rays. Unlike most other organic rubber, silicone rubber can withstand temperatures from -50°C to 350°C.
